Thesis Volunteers
Anna Caffrey, Trainee Clinical Psychologist, is conducting a thesis as the final part of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The topic of this thesis is examining how people with a diagnosis of high-functioning autism or Asperger's Syndrome successfully solve social problems (this in comparison to so much literature which focuses on failures in this area).

Anyone who is interested in taking part in this research should contact Anna on 07989 728606 or autism-research@hotmail.co.uk

Sponsorship Required
Jessica Peers, the author of "Asparagus Dreams" who has Asperger's Syndrome, is trying to raise sponsors to pay for a research project she is undertaking at the University of Sunderland. The University has offered to pay half the cost of the three-year course (£20,000) but Jessica is seeking help funding the second half.

Anybody who would consider contributing to this, or requires further information should contact Jessica on jessy2ac@aol.com. Dr Mitzi Waltz at the University of Sunderland is also able to provide further information on: mitzi.waltz@sunderland.ac.uk
